Tonight, at something close to, but not, #Hookland, serenaded by music old, but too new for the County, thoughts & ideas flow, all the better for returning to discipline, pattern, & sideways, re-enchanted byways of @hookland.bsky.social. I shall call the name, not walk on by, vision unforgotten.

When I approached, I saw the rest: a mixed flock, mostly jackydaws , with one jay and a few pied-mags lagging behind as they always do. Possibly descendants of the flock Ray Berwick trained in the 60s for that film.
