Today is #InternationalRabbitDay 🐰🐇. Rabbits and hares in heraldry are often used as a play on the name of the bearer. This wonderful coat of arms from the Bishop's Palace in Wells, Somerset, is attributed to John Harewell, Bishop of Bath and Wells from 1366-1386. #bathheraldry #hookedonheraldry
