Gorgeous. Fine song, well performed, (yes, the harmony vocals!) but for us #HomeMadeMusic listeners, also an example of how a well mixed and mastered cut can bring their additional art to a recording. Are you self-produced? Did you do your own master? I’d love to hear about the choices there.
We were and are proud of our piece about moving into the coming year, into the impossible past, into class and into regeneration: Dabbin Houses’ #HomeMadeMusic
I remember coming up with the melody while I was testing a 'Lofi Piano'-type plugin and I just kept adding stuff till I came onto this. It's so goddamn beautiful it still surprises me that I was able to make this...
#HomeMadeMusic
I wrote it, produced it, arranged it, sang it, and played most of the instruments. I also made the video.

I often feel like I stumbled into this song by accident. Every time I listen to it, I'm like, "Wait, *I* wrote this?" It's a slowly-evolving cinematic ambient piece that channels the heartbeat of the universe, and I think it turned out so well!

Proud of the whole thing. It’s the longest I’ve spent to date putting sounds together before hitting record, and the result speaks for itself
Also how often will you hear a blend of #bassoon and electronic #ambient?
I've got to go to bed, not quite made it through all the submissions, but some great stuff in #HomeMadeMusic today. Good job folks x
Oops forgot #HomeMadeMusic
Another instrumental entry! I sometimes listen and react in amazement that I made this. 😂

Hi, hope you don't mind me submitting this? A song (of many) what I made myself so is 100% #HomeMadeMusic Its an ode to being a kid in the late 70s. I'm probably wearing rose tinted glasses 🙂

The bridge on the title track is good clever:
I don't wanna leave the world to its resources
'Cause there'd be nothing left of it at all
If these businessmen would only hold their horses
While we sew another suture
And think about our future

Giving this another try.
Joining @roughguessmusic.bsky.social in sharing a hot mess I’m proud of.
I stretched my vocals on this (with many fails), figured out my car is a decent vocal booth, and made a cool video (view on bandcamp) .
Wiz, your addition to "Since" absolutely kicked it into a new gear and made the track! I'm definitely proud of that number, it just came out almost fully written, one of those rare ones, but I'm most proud of your brilliant Uke version! youtu.be/IkY-JF1iP3s?...
I genuinely think "I'm An Alligator, Baby (And I'll See You Later)" is the best song I've ever written, despite it being one of my earlier releases. I don't know if I'll ever outdo it. I got poetic as hell with these lyrics.
As for tracks that are fully realized songs,...
I STILL love the collaboration that I did with three musicians over the Internet. Very avant-jazz/psychedelic. #RIPViolinda. #HomeMadeMusic #MusicSky #musiciansky #DIYSKY #psychedelic #freejazz
A guy I collaborated with (The Affectionate Punch) composed music and the title, and asked me to add lyrics and vocals. The title reminded me of Shakespeare, so my lyrics used acting as a metaphor and included a couple of Shakespearean terms.
