@chris.nutmeg.social.ap.brid.gy@courtney I've been moving towards that as well. Think I still have an S3 bucket I need to do something with.
Ended up moving towards #Hetzner and #Cloudflare. Cloudflare had similar features while being way easier to use, and I find Hetzner to be a fairly ethical host.
Though having used […]

@b00g13.eurosky.socialAny opinions on cloud space storage?
Right now, I'm looking at #Infomaniak with kS+ or just kD if that's an option too, #Filen, #Hetzner. I'm also looking at #Drime, #ShadowDrive, #Internxt and maybe #Pcloud. Proton is not really an option for me.

@oldperl.mastodon.online.ap.brid.gyMöchtest du lokal auf deine #Hetzner Storage Box zugreifen, solltest du auch den NetBios Filter deiner Fritzbox deaktivieren.
Für euch getestet... 😏

@unsightly3055.universeodon.com.ap.brid.gyIt's looking like Dotbot with one or more plugins, possibly etckeeper, and I might get #Hetzner to backup my Nextcloud instance. Unless anyone knows a reason I shouldn't use Hetzner (I assume the world of remote backups is as shady or nearly as shady as the VPN world).

When your client list outgrows a VPS, migrate to a dedicated server with #Hetzner for cost-effective performance.
📈 Still sounds too heavy?
Use #Cloudways as a bridge—they handle the backend while you focus on the work.

@dentaku.fnordon.de.ap.brid.gyOh, in meinem ältesten #Hetzner-Server ist eine Festplatte kaputt gegangen. Die war doch gerade mal 17 Jahre alt.

@pee.mastodon.online.ap.brid.gyForget Hetzner Storage Box and check out BorgBase. I am truly impressed, easy sign-up, intuitive browser interface and support that's fast and on the ball!
Hetzner, go suck 🖕- complacency and not listening to user feedback will kill you.

@aapanel.bsky.socialHetzner, DigitalOcean, Hostinger, OVHcloud, and more compared without the promo fog. Pick the host you can leave, then test a backup restore before you point DNS.
@bitprophet.social.coop.ap.brid.gyCollating some recently inbox'd "migrate off of #DigitalOcean as they are now both incompetent /and fascist/" resources, and it's extremely funny to see folks mention that #Hetzner, one of the bigger "small and/or non-US-based" VPS hosts, SIMULTANEOUSLY:
