Her dad took a step towards her, but she was more frightened animal than person and jumped back, staring at him with a fire in her eyes.

The first time Farim is visibly afraid of Gwen, it sends her spiraling. She does not take it well at all. She's sort of accepted it somewhat by shb that she *is* intimidating and scary, but it still makes her sick to think about and she does not dwell on it.
