A two-part tumblr post: Part 1 : im giving isgarren my diabetes now that he's no longer ascended. woe, poor blood sugar regulation and insulin deficiency upon ye you old fuck Part 2 : projects an image into your mind of isgarren post passing out from a hypoglycemia episode in an extra-long hospital gown with a blood sugar monitor in his arm and being fitted for an insulin pump and just malding with a dead inside look. my commander, eydis, also has diabetes and is also completely reliant on an insulin pump* so she's sympathetic while also thinking this is the funniest shit in the world. Part 2 Footnote : (*she used to be able to just take insulin shots + metformin every so often, but after an.... incident where a hostile fractal denizen takes her captive and systemically starves her... yeah no her pancreas is fuuuuuuuuuuuucked)

my commander isn't much of a reader, and unfortunately (or fortunately) when he DOES settle down to read or get a bit of research done, it puts him right to sleep.
I imagine that isgarren takes a passing interest in whatever prompted his wayfinder to make a rare trip to amnytas' library
