I think Zetas (and their ilk) are becoming my favorite MSes.
Just a bit of colour-customizing on this kit, but also some new (to me) techniques.
First is using graphite powder to do gun metal. Messy as hell, but works well. Still need to refine my approach.
@brotherkaiju.bsky.socialJust about done with the MG Crossbone Gundam X-1 Full Cloth! Got a couple weapons to finish and it is DONE! Love how it looks on the shelf next to my other big boy models!

@joeygunota.bsky.socialThe only reason these decals are working better than the STUPID stickers that come with this kit is the fact I can MELT them with Walthers Solvaset.

@joeygunota.bsky.socialYeah, the MGSD Barbatos was a good break from the army of 30MF knights I had been building.
Great build. Cute. Menacing. BFG, mace, sword. Great build!

Aka color correction hell.
Seriously, the amount of color correcting on this kit was ridiculous, but I can't complain about the result.
Despite this being a novelty buy, it looks fantastic in person and has incredible shelf presence.
@joeygunota.bsky.socialThese MGSD are very cute and really fun builds. Though I do wish they kept the big anime character eyes as an option.

@joeygunota.bsky.socialI am once again reminding everyone that banners and posters like these at expos and hobby shows are not announcements. They are Bandai trolling and teasing us with things they MIGHT do EVENTUALLY.
