More hedge cutting, including making sure the height is uniform around #GrosvenorSquare. So itβs time to create a height stick that can be used measure height at any point. An old but simple trick.
The start of the final cut of the Holly hedge at #GrosvenorSquare began today. Some parts have been left too long during the refurbishment, so we are pushing it back to a uniform depth around the garden.

It was a bit chilly getting into the ponds today, but needs must when thereβs still blanket weed and leaves to remove. Also took the opportunity to cut back the old leaves of the Swamp Marigolds (Caltha palustris).
The start of Autumn at #GrosvenorSquare means keeping top of the leaves across the garden. Whilst most of the leaves are left on the beds, paths and lawns are kept clear.
