@soumya-goblue.bsky.socialAnd I was entering #medicalschool during that hopey changey era, so I definitely did not feel any sense of #optimism there 😂 (my first two years of med school were brutal, though I did better on #clinicals)- and remember Obama was elected and inherited the #GreatRecession for several more years
