"It makes you wonder, why would they create something meant to be seen from the sky unless they had someone watching from up there?"

The Nazcas & other ancient cultures that created #geoglyphs meant to be seen from the sky did have someone (or more accurately something) "watching from up there".

A composite photo of a total solar eclipse created by Wendy Carlos which shows the similarity of a total solar eclipse to the pupil and iris of a disembodied "eye in the sky". The black disk of the Moon totally covering the Sun forms the pupil of the total solar eclipse "eye of God", while the white rays and streamers of the Sun's corona radiating outwards my mimic the muscle structure of the iris.

Ancient observations of the total solar eclipse "eye of God" inspired diverse ancient cultures to create geoglyphs intended to be seen by "sky gods", most notably the Nazca Lines in southern Peru.
