[Foss Force] Gentoo Is Looking for Infrastructure Sponsors

#Gentoo #FOSS

Before I added an #emoji #picker to my launcher I was not sure it'd actually be a useful feature. But the more I bring this into muscle memory, the more useful I actually find this.

@bureaux Ich weiß nicht, wie man auf #gentoo == "rechts" kommen könnte. Gentoo ist so nahe am #BSD-Gedanken, wie sonst kein #Linux-OS.

[It's FOSS] Gentoo Needs Your Help! Several Sponsors Have Pulled Out

#Gentoo #OpenSource

I'm asking for help on the forums:

I'm sure we can get the old girl running.

The good folks at #Gentoo are looking for new infrastructure sponsors. They're mostly looking for rack-space, power and connectivity and they'll provide the hardware. Preferably outside the US, but not necessarily.

If you have a favorite distro, for me its #linuxmint, I really think you should read this blog post about it. I feel like the Internet is so depressing lately. Distro hopping is a reminder of how great it still is. invirtuate.com/blog/linux/d...

Wife and kid are visiting the father in law and I get 4 evenings/nights of me-time.

Of course I use it to install #gentoo on my workstation.

Happy Birthday, #GentooLinux! 🐧🎂🎈

Named after the fastest underwater-swimming penguin, this source-based #Linux distro gives users a high degree of flexibility and control over their software.

Thank you #Gentoo developers and the community for all your amazing work! 💜
