A black-and-white line art sketch showing a work-in-progress (WIP) design for an anthropomorphic parrot character, drawn with loose construction lines on a plain white background. The word "WIP" is written in a large, semi-transparent grey font across the center, with the signature "NELIS" above it.The image showcases two full-body poses. On the left, the character is seen from a three-quarters back view, showcasing long, layered wing feathers on the arms and a long, flowing feathery tail reaching the ground. The head has a distinct parrot beak profile. On the right, the character is shown from the front in a dynamic pose with hands raised behind the head, highlighting a slender torso, wide-set feathered wings attached to the arms, and baggy, low-waist pants.

A character design reference collage and mood board featuring a mixture of streetwear fashion, punk aesthetics, and parrot imagery. On the left, a person wears a black long-sleeved top with striped sleeves, a low-waist corset, and baggy low-rise jeans. The center and top feature vibrant scarlet macaws with bright red, yellow, and blue feathers, both in a photo and a stylized low-poly illustration. Other images include fashion references with baggy cargo pants, camo patterns, a leather jacket with a tie, white angel wings on cobblestone, punk rock style graphics, a closeup of a person with dramatic eye makeup, and a street sign at night.
