I favour replacing #FPTP with #SVS ( #SupplementaryVoteSystem), a similar system, limited form of #AV used for #EnglishMayoralElections, could be implemented relatively quickly, people are familiar with it, then see how that works out.

@jfmezei I think this election shows that #FPTP tends to give good results. It's very effective at throwing parties out of power.
