Title: changed by the pain
Author: steamingcupoftea
Summary:

"Foulques, please," he called, hands raised non-threateningly. "You know this isn't– Celestaux wouldn't want this," his voice cracked as he said it, the loss still so fresh and making it all worse.

This wasn't meant to happen. Celestaux was never supposed to–

G'raha cut off the thought before he could finish thinking it. Now wasn't the time to get sucked up in his own grief, not when Foulques had already let it consume him. The man who stood in front of him was more of a terrified, cornered animal than anything – a version of him that G'raha had never witnessed… the version of him that existed before Celestaux came into his life.
