the text reads: "you know? i've gotten to a point in my life where not many people seem to care about me anymore -- i'm not a "cool festival DJ" anymore, someone people want to know because of whom i know -- not a Professor anymore -- not "important" anymore. i've made my peace with this solitude, this safety. but that's pretty much okay with me now, provided that in my daily life other sentient beings feel the care I give them, see the fact that i sort my trash, pick up that of others, and just generally try and be a kind, good, giving member of society who occasionally manages to help others see that their lives matter and have dignity. that gives me meaning. and i am content with it."
