I have an F-Droid repo now. fdroid.randogoth.com serves Muzzle Velocity, Plasmoid, The Mews and kirakira, each signed by its own Forgejo CI on a tag push. The release webhook fires before the APK is attached, so the server had to learn patience.

Build eleven is up on F-Droid with the line I look for. It is built and signed by the original developer. Their builder compiled my tag with the Rust toolchain pinned in the recipe and got the bytes I signed. What's the step that breaks reproducibility first in your pipeline? #FDroid

@fdroidorg there's an urgent issue needing to be adressed: apps made partially or fully with generative AI. I think there should be highlighted if a dev used AI to make the app, just like there's warnings for when an app relies or promotes non-libre services.

Watching F-Droid rebuild my app from the tag in under eight minutes and match the APK I'd signed still surprises me. Quicker than I'd have guessed for a bare machine fetching its own toolchain. Three releases in, the match has held, and they ship my signature on their build. #FDroid #AndroidDev

I just bought Felicity, possibly the best local music player for Android. And I didn't use Playstore, I downloaded from F-Droid and paid via Gumroad. It was €8.56.
