The CAM-Explainer Age: Undefined (Mentally an Adult) Gender: GNC Male (He/Him) Sexuality: TBD Height: 3'0" / 90cm (excluding hair and antenna) Having secured the trademark and patents for The Joke-Explainer® 7000, the Haltmann Works Co. permits its employees to manufacture Explainers® of their own for various purposes throughout the company. The Cartoon and Animated Media Explainer, or CAM-Explainer for short, is one such unit, constructed by Shipping Supervisor and R&D Scientist Professor Hubert j. Farnsworth. He has been programmed with nigh-limitless knowledge on all things related to the animation medium, whether it be the twelve principles of animation, animation history, or trivia related to popular animated shows and movies (except anime, it's forbidden). CAM-Explainer currently works down in the Haltmann Media Archive, where he has very few duties and as such gets to do almost nothing but watch cartoons and browse TVTropes all day. Likes: + Drawing (he has no fingers so it's very difficult for him) + Matt Groening Shows + Cartoon-related SiIvaGunner events + TVTropes and Cartoon Wikis + Art Books + His Creator, Professor Farnsworth + Maurice LaMarche Dislikes: - Haircuts - Matt Groening - 2010s Cartoon Reviewers - People Who Think Animation Is "Just For Kids" - People Who Think Animation Is A Genre - Most Current-Day Conversations Surrounding Animation - Streaming Services

a lotta artists in the siivagunner community have been making their own explainer sonas so i succumbed to peer pressure and made one too #siivagunner #sona #oc #ocsky #fanoc

The CAM-Explainer (Cartoons and Animation Explainer) [He/Him] - specializes in information about animation and cartoons (duh) - also knowledgeable into other topics as long as they're animation adjacent (disney film and theme park history, lot media related to cartoons, etc.) - goes on wiki and tvtropes deep dives religiously - night owl; has the worst sleep schedule known to man (do robots need sleep?) - wants to be a cartoonist but can't draw good because he has no goddamn fingers

rewatched earthbeholden recently (very good btw) and started thinking about what cam-explainer's "earthbeholden arc" would be
#siivagunner #explainersona #fanoc

Cam-Explainer in the Earthbeholden style, stood next to his Guilt: a taller, warped version of himself notes: - resembles poorly ai-generated artwork; missing or warped features, appearance is wildly inconsistent between drawings - speaks in the telltale AI writing style; lots of unnecessary emdashes, buzzwords, "it's not just [X], it's [Y]"
