Didn't see the pre-season games but from what I saw last season #Engstrom is a better skater, a better passer, has better vision, is more creative and has better overall hockey sense. What Xhekaj and Struble bring that he doesn't (at least to the same level) is physical play. There are trade-offs.

Among defensemen with more than 40 AHL games played last season, Adam #Engstrom ranked 6th in points per game. While the situation may change, why is it so surprising to some that he is still on the #Habs roster.

Gotta keep telling myself patience. I think it’s so #Reinbacher gets minutes in #Laval instead of limited minutes & sitting 🪑 for the #GoHabsGo.
