Why did the scarecrow win an award? Because he was outstanding in his field. 🌾
Why it's funny: "outstanding" = excellent. But a scarecrow is also "out standing" in a field on a farm!

I'm reading a book about anti-gravity. It's impossible to put down. 😄
Why it's funny: "put down" means to stop reading a book. But an anti-gravity book floats, so you literally can't put it down!

One missing comma, and your seafood lesson takes a VERY different turn. 😂🦀

“How to cook, crack and clean a crab.”

Tiny mark. Huge difference.

Have you spotted a punctuation disaster in the wild?

Meme headed “This is why commas are important.” A roadside sign reads “HOW TO COOK CRACK AND CLEAN A CRAB.” The missing comma after “cook” makes “cook crack” read as a separate activity rather than part of preparing a crab.
