I will say #EndofAbyss has a bit of a bummer ending, but I guess that's not uncommon for horror games. Makes me think a bit of Motorslice's ending. Far from identical, but gives me some similar vibes.

I like that the Technician is lithe enough that you can imagine them as whatever gender you like. #EndofAbyss

First death among the crew. Though I have no idea how they ended up in the place where I found the body. It's so far from where they were assigned to be. #EndofAbyss

It is interesting to see that even the enemies are affected by the toxic environment. Found an enemy literally turned to an ash statue in the irradiated zone. #EndofAbyss

So I have to walk through a "moderately" irradiated zone for a while... this kid's gonna die of cancer or something in a few years at most. #EndofAbyss

I looked it up, and apparently the key to get the radiation suit is inside the irradiated sector... how do you expect me to intuit that? Whenever it flashed the radiation warning, I turned back. I didn't think there would be a mandatory hellrun. #EndofAbyss

Starting to wish this game had a hint system. #EndofAbyss

The only three "open" paths I can think of are all irradiated, so I need both the grapple, and the radiation suit. The latter I think I know where is, but it requires a keycard I do not have, and do not know where might be. #EndofAbyss

Maybe I should revisit the grapple locked rooms. See if there's an alternate way of crossing those gaps, maybe to reach a room that sneakily contains the grapple. #EndofAbyss

Last time this happened it was because I had overlooked a vent cover hidden behind some boxes. But even combing through the area twice, that optional (key?) item is the only thing I found. Also last time it was an obvious "how do I cross this gap" room. #EndofAbyss

I must regretfully say that I am yet again a bit lost. The area beyond the broken door seems like it was just for an optional item. Possibly an important one, but no immediate progression towards this area's goal, or tools to access other areas. #EndofAbyss

Found a previously locked door has been smashed open with considerable force. Clearly from the inside. Worrying. On the other hand, that means that whatever broke the door is no longer in there. Probably. #EndofAbyss

I planned to give #EndOfAbyss a 30–40 minutes start... but I was locked in for well over an hour! 😂
