@seanssharpening.bsky.socialBelieve it or not, not all smaller axes are for carving, some are kindling splitters, so instead of a flat or flat over hollow grind, I give these a convex grind with an edge that'll bite before making the shoulders of the cutting edge, popping the wood apart.
