@duckypopvideo.bsky.socialHappy #LetterboxdFriday everyone! Here are my #LastFourWatched films; mostly for classes, but I did sneak in a fun 80s slasher film!
@duckypopvideo.bsky.socialMy 2026 Halloween streak of low budget 80s slasher films continues with #TerroronTour. I wish I could have found a better copy to watch; the copy I found was pretty low quality, and I think it was a bit of a disservice to the film itself.
@duckypopvideo.bsky.socialI recently watched the epic #SevenSamurai, and while it was not my personal favorite #Kurosawa film, it was still an incredible film.
@duckypopvideo.bsky.social#JustWatched another 1980s B-grade horror comedy! Today was the #slasher film #CheerleaderCamp. Sleazy and surreal; this movie was full of dream sequences, nudity, and the occasional victim. Oh and can't forget the cheers, break dancing, and rap sesh!
@duckypopvideo.bsky.socialApparently my October is turning into a lot of low budget 80s sexploitation comedy horror.
Weirdly this felt somehow less sleazy than Bowl-O-Rama did? Also, it was a noir genre spoof!?? Wild.
@duckypopvideo.bsky.socialLook, it's got some glaring issues but if you know what you're signing up for, there is a lot to appreciate. The first 15 minutes are rough, but once they get to the bowling alley it gets better...besides the imp. That's a different issue.
@duckypopvideo.bsky.socialHappy #LetterboxdFriday everyone! My #LastFourWatched are mainly in the spirit of spooky season, but I did sneak in a theater visit to see #Primetime.
@duckypopvideo.bsky.socialToday's horror movie watch was #Popcorn from 1991. This was absolutely delightful! The set design, makeup, costuming, and prosthetics were all so much fun. I can tell that this was made by people that really wanted to be making it.
@duckypopvideo.bsky.socialVery dated 'humor' that is mostly just sexual harassment, but there is also some fun horror tropes and nice animation!

@duckypopvideo.bsky.socialThe thrift store was kind to me today
@duckypopvideo.bsky.socialIt is that time of year where I start digging through my backlog of horror films that I need to watch. I recently got around to watching #TheVideoDead, and it was deliciously cheesy. A TV that summons zombies? I'm sold!
@duckypopvideo.bsky.socialI recently watched #PigintheCity and it was absolutely surreal. I don't know how I missed seeing this as a child, but I feel robbed. I know I saw the first one multiple times, but the sequel is on a whole different planet.
@duckypopvideo.bsky.socialHappy #LetterboxdFriday everyone! Here are my #LastFourWatched films from this week. It was an okay week for films. I had a lot of fun with the cheesy 80s horror flick #TheVideoDead and #ForgottenIsland was a great theater experience!
@duckypopvideo.bsky.socialI will also be taking a class on conspiracy #thrillers. This is a genre that I truly love. I have been watching a lot of it this summer and I accidentally watched the entire syllabus! Oops. If you want to follow along with my class, I made a list of all the films
@duckypopvideo.bsky.socialClasses are officially back in session! This quarter I will be taking a #MartialArts film class. I have been prepping for it all summer. I'm so excited! If you want to follow along, I made a list of every film that we will be watching for class :)
@duckypop.bsky.socialPoppy recently watched #AChineseGhostStory and absolutely LOVED IT. They have not shut up about it since and insisted on recreating this iconic scene from it. They even posed for both roles!

@duckypopvideo.bsky.socialWhoohoo, I officially hit milestone 350 on my #Letterboxd 2026 diary today! Rewatched #CrouchingTigerHiddenDragon and it was still wonderful.
@duckypopvideo.bsky.socialHappy #LetterboxdFriday everyone! Here are my #LastFourWatched films from this week. #Videodrome is always a favorite, but the #LoneWolfandCub sequel was probably the highlight of the week since it was a first watch. It was just so good!!
@duckypopvideo.bsky.socialI accidentally watched the second #LoneWolfandCub before watching the first one, but I'm not too mad about it. This was fantastic!!
@duckypopvideo.bsky.socialWent to see the new #ResidentEvil movie in theaters yesterday! It gave me a bit of nostalgia about playing the games as a kid, but mostly I was just enjoying the lighting in the film. Some cool things going on!
