day 1385: the sun was coming and going this afternoon following a rainy morning ☔️

There was a warning we might have a storm roll in when I got to the park, but instead the sun came out in full while I was painting ☀️

This is a photograph of a small watercolor held up in front of the scene that inspired it. In the painting, and behind it in real life, we see park bench to the left of a small tree. Flo colors are shown. Kyle holds the piece with their left hand, and it’s taped to a piece of cardboard.

day 1384: did some painting by (and of) the water today 🌊

Thanks for spending a moment with my art related series ☀️

day 1382: some more candy corn nails 💛🧡🤍

I thought the tip-style would be my preference, but ended up loving the full candy corns more 🤷

It’s really always guess-and-check 💅🏼

This is a picture of Kyle’s white, right hand with freshly painted nails. The nails have a candy corn design, fanning out towards the tips. There is one candy corn per nail.

This is a picture of Kyle’s white, left hand with freshly painted nails, with the thumbnail facing the camera. The nails have a French tip design, but the tip is candy corn colors. They move from white, through orange, to yellow at the very edges.

day 1380: It’s been a rainy Sunday here so far 🌧️

I got cozy and kept working on this #WIP ☕️ 🧦

Thanks for spending a moment with my art related series ☺️

Sending some love and hope your way 🫂💜

day 1377: finished the work in progress that I’ve been tinkering with these last few days 🪩

I need to find another “street through a town” to draw soon, since I really like these types of compositions 🏘️

day 1367: still on this (sorta autumnal) gradient for my nails 🍁

Swapped some colors and added one more (bringing the total to 7 colors) so I could have 3-colors per nail 🌈

this is a p photograph of Kyle’s recently painted nails. We see both of Kyle‘s white hands, palm- up with fingers clenched towards the camera. The nails show a colorful gradient from pink, through red, orange, yellow, and into green. The background shows the ground outside, with sunlight falling in pools.

day 1375: today I rearranged my plants and then felt like painting one of them: my snake plant <3

This was the first plant I got years ago (it was smaller then 🥺) & caring for it gave me confidence to get more 🪴

#SnakePlant #Watercolor #painting #Art #Daily #NoAI #AIsucks #DoNotUseForAI

This is a photograph of a small watercolor of a snake plant, taped to piece of cardboard with rainbow washi tape. The painting is a simply rendered piece, with loose details and varied colors. Kyle’s white, left thumb is in the bottom left corner, with orange-red nail polish.

day 1374: It’s the kind of breezy where the wind makes the leaves sound like the ocean 🍃 🌊

Nice weather called me outside so I painted this:

#Watercolor #DailyArt #Painting #NewArt #PleinAir #NoAI #AIsucks #DoNotUseForAI

This is a small watecolor taped to cardboard and held up to align with the scene that inspired it, which is blurred in the background. We see trees with a fence running through them, rendered loosely and colorfully.

day 1373: it’s early, but it’s started 🎊🪩

I’ll keep working on this companion piece** to the one I shared last week!

**it was inspired by the same outing 🏘️

#DailyArt #DigitalPainting #Part1 #WIP #DigitalArt #NoAI #AIsucks #DoNotUseForAI

This is a photo of a digital screen open to a drawing program. An early-stage work in progress is seen, with a scene looking down a road in a town. The piece is loosely blocked in with the pink background showing in many places.

day 1372: just finished this watercolor at the park and now I’m waiting a bit for my palette to dry before I close it and head home 🎨

#DailyArt #Watercolor #PleinAir #Painting #dailyArt #NoAI #DoNotUseForAI #AIsucks

This is a photo of a watercolor pleinair, with the real life scene depicted in the background. It shows the view of water through some trees. The watercolor is small, about the size of a business card, and taped to a piece of cardboard, it is held up to the left of the scene.

day 1371: was really struggling to find a spot to inspire me today, so I just picked a table and went with it!

Clouds rolled in after a bit, so I might bring it back for a second session when weather permits ☀️

#pleinAir #Painting #Outside #Watercolor #DailyArt #NoAI #AIsucks #DoNotUseForAI

This is a photograph of a watercolor of a river scene, taped to a piece of cardboard. It is held up in front of the real life scene that inspired the peace. We see water running through a hole in the flora. Kyle holds it up with their left, white hand which has fresh red-orange polish on the thumbnail.

@kylepeterart.bsky.social Oct 1, 2026, 7:53 PM

day 1370: wanted to try this #Fall -inspired gradient again, and swapped some colors from Sunday’s look.

It ended up less leaf-toned 🍁 and more apple-ish 🍎, so I’ll probably try a third combo (with elements from both looks) next time!

#Nails #EasyNails #NailPolish #NoAI #AIsucks #DoNotUseForAI

This is a photo of Kyle’s nails, which have been freshly painted. We see Kyle’s two white hands with their palms towards the camera and the fingers clenched to show the nails. Both are polished with a gradient from red, through orange and yellow, to green. The left hand has the gradient moving down each nail, with two colors per nail. The right hand has the gradient moving from nail to nail, also with two colors per nail.

day 1368: we had some moments of sun today so I was able to get to the park to do day 2 on this #PleinAir from last week ☀️

I think it’s done now, ready to be untaped once it dries 🪩

day 1367: new work is in progress and it’s sunset-themed! 🌅

I’ll keep at it and have an update tomorrow 🕺

sending some love and hope your way 💜

day 1366: it was nail re-fresh time and I felt like experimenting with some fall foliage inspired colors 🍁🍃

I picked 6 colors that worked in a gradient, then used 2 per nail.

#Nails #FallNails #AutumnNails #NailsAtHome #NailArt #FallNailArt #Manicure #NoAI #AIsucks #DoNotUseForAI

This is a picture of Kyle’s left hand with freshly painted nails. The nails show various gradients from base to tip, moving through red, orange, yellow, and green across the nails. The effect is such that the nails take on an autumn-themed gradient.
