I was writing so well before they announced the FEFW DLC and now I can't lock in anymore. But at least, I managed to write a little more of chapter two of my #Dimilix vampire fic. One less week until FE Vampire Weekend! #WipWednesday

Snippet of Chapter Two of my Dimilix vampire fic. "Felix is thankful for his reflexes, one of the advantages the curse of Fraldarius affords him. They allow him to dodge his opponents' blades by mere millimetres and to find even the smallest of openings in their defences. He feels how the ground shakes under the hooves of a great knight's steed just seconds before he slashes the horse's legs, sending its rider tumbling down. He hears the strum of a bow string just in time to get out of the trajectory of an arrow before conjuring Thoron as a counterattack. He parries an enemy axe and is ready to cut its wielder in retaliation. One by one, they fall to his sword and they become a pile of corpses the flames of the valley will claim soon. The last of them dies as blood spills from the wound Felix's fangs have inflicted on their throat. Victorious, Felix drinks the hot, scarlet liquid, allowing himself a quiet moan of relief as the ever burning thirst is quenched for now and warmth seeps back into his limbs. "

I am a fire (and you are dry as bone) | E | 7.4k | #fe3h | #dimilix | #starrwrites

My first ever Dimilix fic (previously called I’d rather burn than fall) written for @superlinh.bsky.social as their Dimilix exchange gift.

archiveofourown.org/works/75898606

I am a fire (and you are dry as bone) SeraphStarshine Summary: Felix bites his tongue to resist the urge to say more, to reassure Dimitri, to compliment him further, because he does look nice. Actually, he looks...really nice. Wait...what the actual fuck is wrong with him? Felix is Dimitri's shield, his protector, nothing else. But with the war far behind them, recent changes in Dimitri have started to catch his attention. For once, he is looking at the king just to look, not to assess. It changes things between them, and like anything new, it terrifies Felix.

#WIPWednesday Dimilix from beyond the grave is still Dimilix.

#DimitriAlexandreBlaiddyd #FelixHugoFraldarius #Dimilix #FE3H

Snippet of a WIP fic: "'Perhaps if you hadn't turned your back to Faerghus, we wouldn't have died,' the ghost insists inside his mind. Felix doesn't know if it refers to him or the professor, but perhaps both are true. Normally, he doesn't acknowledge the ghost, but with the blade in his hands, his mind beats him to it. 'Perhaps if you hadn't parted with this dagger, you would still be alive, you idiot.' "
