Chapter 8 of #digimonelysium!

In a way this is the conclusion to the Prologue of the story! Plenty of talking left to go before the in-universe day ends, so strap in for some LORE!

And next, a certain Dog will have it's day...

It's been long enough, time to update this post with some of the OTHER members of the Marauders! However, we're focusing on MIA or AWOL members

Unless you're Greymon, because Greymon never backs down from a fight

#digimon #digimonOC #digimonelysium

An unofficial member of the Wretched Few, TyrantKabuterimon was one of the chief scientists and engineers within the Marauders, working particularly close with Bagramon; one of the ringleaders to the Marauders. They were exceedingly intelligent, and was obsessed with perfecting their plans to the finest detail, much like Dorbickmon and later Gundramon, they held a great hatred for the 'Royal Knights' They disappeared shortly before the final recorded battle between the Marauders and Arbitrators, alongside another infamous memberNumber 2 of the Wretched Few, Regalecusmon was the former Majordomo to Leviamon, the Demon Lord of Envy. As one of the eldest of the Marauders, Regalecusmon possesses incredible skill and strength in combat, using every advantage they can to overwhelm their enemies, serving Leviamon without question and with little regard for their own life When they joined the Marauders at their master's order, he naturally found himself drawn to Lilithmon's sect of the Marauders, as she was a Demon Lord much like Regalecusmon's own master After Leviamon's demise during the last recorded battle between the Marauders and Arbitrators, Regalecusmon became rather despondent, then confused, before suddenly vanishing from the Marauders roughly 15 years agoGreymon is a member of the Marauders' special forces unit known as 'The Vanguard', and has shown great potential to ascend the ranks of the Marauders, so long as he stays the course Single-mindedly driven to fight and dominate, Greymon seeks only combat and does not care who he has to challenge, even fighting with other Marauders should they antagonize him Greymon has a particular hatred for Tamers and their partner digimon, viewing their 'bond' as nothing but a shortcut to strength, fleeting and without merit, unlike most Marauders, though, Greymon seems to hold some kind of moral code; he never picks on those he views as weaker than himself, unless they strike first; thus, he seems rather disinterested in what the Marauders actually seek, only wanting further power Greymon also has a habit of speaking in third person, referring to himself as 'Greymon' rather than 'I' or 'Me'Number 5 of the Wretched Few, Mervamon is an artificial creation orchestrated by Lilithmon, with minimal influence from Bagramon or TyrantKabuterimon's machinations, it's believed that part of the reason for Mervamon's creation was so that Lilithmon could have a 'weapon' of her own to use against her rivals and enemies Although much of her composite data remains secretive, it appears that Mervamon has some integral role to play in their crusade, even if she doesn't understand what role Trained by Boltboutamon, Mervamon is a ruthless combatant who wears a wild expression in the heat of battle, but often falters into a more quiet, contemplative expression when left on her own Mervamon fled from the Marauders before the final battle recorded between the Marauders and Arbitrators, and has since been living in the Free Zones of the Cyberspace Elysium, fighting off both vengeful Marauders and even the Arbitrators

The weak vs strong aura meme with Goddramon and HeavyMetaldramon from Digimon Elysium Goddramon, with weak aura, says "I am at peace and in charge of my own destiny", reflecting their character arc and personality HeavyMetaldramon, with STRONG aura, says "Fuck it, we ball" x4, reflecting their devil-may-care attitude with all things in life

Since it's National Coming Out Day somewhere in the world still, I feel like now it the opportunity to discuss something a little different in #digimonelysium: How Digimon express themselves, namely, their genders!

At a baseline, Digimon don't have gender, like other interpretations

It's October 1st, which means... Happy Birthday, Xavier Rey! Here's a pair of pictures to commemorate the occasion

There's no shot that Aster would miss out on her best
friend's birthday

Cecil, meanwhile, is a little more subtle about his affection and support

In #digimonelysium, Aster is canonically a H U G E fan of Tsuyomi Serizawa and MasterTyrannomon's movie series; "The Roar Heard Around The World", while also paying close attention to their rare occasions that Tsuyomi and M.Tyrannomon fight in the Digital Arcade

A Final Fantasy XIV Gpose depicting Aster Chevalier and Tsuyomi Serizawa, two Tamer characters in Digimon Elysium Tsuyomi is standing confidantly, grinning and staring down whatever may be standing before her, while Aster, the little nerd that she is, looks up at her excitedly with her fists clenched tightly in sheer joy

What's this? A BONUS chapter

Chronicles are short stories that explore side characters and their unique lives across Digimon Elysium's world. As a break from the main story's recent events, here's something a little different!

A tease for Chapter 4 of #digimonelysium, progress is a bit slower due to some extra work on a side story, but it's getting close to being ready

Bit of a late reveal for this character in #digimonelysium, but behold! Audrey Valentina!

The older sister of Duncan, she and Hexeblaumon (they/them) have always been one step ahead of the rest of the Digital Arcade, and are currently on track to challenge the Champion!
