What #preprints have the @dev-journal.bsky.social Preprint Editors been reading?

Since June, they've been showcasing standout #DevBio preprints through the ‘In preprints’ series.

We've collected the ones published (so far!) in one #preList ⬇️

Recently, preparing a talk made me think @ the impact of AI in #DevBio and led me to ask AI what would it do to explain the SM #organizer expt just w/ data w/o conceptual input from human interpretation of experiments. Its answer below 🧵

The task: detect every cell in light-sheet microscopy movies of zebrafish embryos, link each one from frame to frame, and catch every division, so that cell lineages can be rebuilt.

By node and edge count, it's the largest cell tracking dataset published to date. #Zebrafish #DevBio
