As of 10:46 am New York on Wednesday, options on the US listed Germany ETF, proxy for Germany's DAX, price a 1.22% day. 30 day IV at 19.4% sits 5 vol points over 20 day realized of 14.4% to the Oct 13 close, so options price bigger moves than that window delivered.

On Korea's KOSPI, options on the US listed Korea ETF price 45.5% implied vol at 10:50 am New York, 3.8 points above what 20 day realized delivered. That 41.7% runs through the Tuesday Oct 13 close, 14.2 points under the 60 day, so swings shrank fast.
