#Inktober2026 day 15 - #Hooray
I wish I could tell you about the comic that inspired this pic but it doesn’t exist! Dragon’s Claws was never concluded, but I like to think that Deaths Head returned to 8162 and helped Dragon to rescue his wife and lead a revolution

#Inktober day 14 - Lady

I couldn’t think of anything clever or funny for today’s prompt, so here’s a lady. Dr Necker creator of Minion (DH2). Despite being a super scientist, she was usually dressed in a bathing suit with pouches and bandages because the 90s.

nktober day 12 - Toss
As in, "Deaths Head Vee was a pile of…"
Did you read the 2019 Deaths Head mini series that introduced Deaths Head V?

#Inktober day 11 - #Rescue
If either Deaths Head’s sidekicks needed rescuing, it would definitely be #Spratt over #Tuck! Not sure if these two ever met?
Treated myself to a little bit of brush inking today which I spent my summer getting to grips with

Inktober Day 10 - Mystical
Meet the parents! Deaths Head was created using a combination of magic and science by Pyra and Lupex in "The Body in Question".
Had to work quickly on today’s as I’m off to see Boris tonight!

Inktober day 9 - Ram
Rodimus vs Deaths Head! Di you know that legendary comic artist Dave Gibbons of Watchmen fame drew the cover to the epic battle between in these two characters in the UK Transformers comic?

Inktober day 8 - Stinky
Made the decision this evening that I wasn’t going to have the time or energy to do inktober today - I was doing school work from 8am until 7pm, but I’ve got no chill

#Inktober2026 day 7 - Panic
In the US, #Bumblebee was killed off during a crossover with GI Joe, but seeing as that title wasn’t very popular here in the UK, it was left to Deaths Head who had been created just for the UK’s Transformers title to do the deed

Some of my DH back issues! I’m always on the look out for more of his Transformers appearances to reacquire whenever I visit a comic shop - I could just buy them online but I like the thrill of finding them out in the wild!

#Inktober - #ogre
Not really an ogre, his name was Lehdrox #DeathsHead 2 made short work of him in the first issue of his original mini-series which I read about 8 million times as a kid .
Was inspired by the panel of Wolverine sneaking through the sewers from Jim Lee’s X-Men 1

#inktober2026 day 5 - Smack
A reimagining of the cover to Dragon’s Claws issue 5, in which Deaths Head arrived in a future version of the Marvel Universe set in 8162 after being set adrift in time by the Doctor. Who’s read this cult classic 10 issue series?

#inktober2026 day 4 - #Cactus
Two of DH’s sidekicks here, Spratt and Vulture who always had a bit of a combatative relationship. Enjoying getting to grips with the acrylic marker I got for my birthday a few weekend ago 🥳

Browsing comic store. Nice to see Death's Head prowling around. #RoboCrush #DeathsHead

#inktober2026 day 3 - #Miniature
Get ready for THE weirdest back story in comic history! #deathshead was originally a giant robot who’d hunt Transformers before #doctorwho shrank him to human size and sent him into the future before ending up in the present day Marvel Universe

#inktober2026 day 2 - Relic
Death’s Head II! I know a lot of DH fans hate him, but I love DHII - not as much as the original, but what can I say, I was a 90s teen ❤️

As always, inktober snuck up on me… I’d had a vague plan of trying to come up with a narrative using all of the official prompts, but in my panic this evening I just quickly drew my old pal Deaths Head.

Heralding the fall, I've nearly completed this lifecycle of the deathhead moth altar. It will be available soon on my website. Painted on an antique Florentine triptych. I'm thinking of a Luna moth altar next? What would you want on your altar?
