Here's a token update on the DBMK Hornet, with the vertical fin blended into the fuselage. The gaps were filled with my customary CA/talc mix, and most of the excess was removed using CA debonder, rather than sanding. Now to finish off the nacelles!

A bit of work involved to get the Hornet's fin and rudder installed. The rudder had a long sink mark at the bottom of each side, while there was also an alignment pin on the fin that had no corresponding hole in the fuselage. Next step is to deal with the gaps and fair it all in.

Time for another DBMK Hornet update. The horizontal tailplanes have been installed, and I've also managed to complete the starboard landing gear assembly. I've now got it glued into one side of its nacelle, and will prime and paint everything prior to joining the nacelles.

Token update on the DBMK Hornet today, with a bit more work done to sort out the various panel joins on the underside, along with making a start on the nacelles. I've also been working on the empennage, and got some primer on the excellent 3D-printed exhausts.

A tiny bit of progress with the DBMK Hornet, with initial work done on fairing in the nose gun panel. Hoping to push this build forward during some down time between book projects!

Not much time at the workbench this last week or so, but I did manage to eke out a little progress on the DBMK Hornet. The focus was on fitting the nose gun panel. The next step will be to get it faired in to the fuselage.

Current state of the DBMK 1/32 Hornet build. Sadly I haven't had a chance to work on it all week, but hoping to get back to it soon.
