More rubbery rings, all marked for a specific order. Once screwed on they tighten up the metal plates from last week and get rid of the gaps. My supervisor checked over my work and said I did a good job this week.

The next two metallic panels as we make our way around the skirt of the Dalek. Again, those too screws are gold for some reason and are SO incredibly small! As you can see there are gaps but they’ll be exterminated with next week’s parts.

More silicon rings, each with a specific places to attach to. There’s the note in the magazine about their shapes too. Got a feeling this thing is going to look and feel solid despite the metal panels being so thin (and sharp).

More of the same from 2 weeks ago, & looking at the boxes I think I know what I’ll be doing for the next couple of months. Two more metal plates added ready for their silicon rings to tighten things up and eliminate those gaps.

8 silicon rings this week of various thickness & angles. If these surround the domes I’ve never noticed they weren’t all uniform before. Screwing them on closes the hairline gap between the metal panels producing a solid look to the skirt.
