Sicily Day 100 – Back to Civilisation! 🇮🇹 After 99 days living in rural Sicily, surrounded by olive trees, countryside, quiet villages and the rhythms of everyday life, it was time to return to civilisation! Today, we find ourselves in the magnificent surroundings of Syracuse, where grand Baroque architecture, lively squares and crowds of visitors offer a very different atmosphere from our peaceful home near Cianciana. It’s amazing how much you appreciate the little things after spending so long in the countryside.
