#ttrpg #cypher I think when people say they can't transfer their c1 characters to c2, it's not that there aren't equivalent choices, it's that c1 powe called like crazy string even at "level 1" while c2 has a clear push towards starting small and growing over game.

Having a system that feels underpowered that allows you to mechanically and narrative add power, feels better than a system that just HEAPS on powers and broken abilities at the jump. Hard for me to scale and do strong narrative when your lvl 2 PC is too strong
