The gigantic rolled up newspaper was plan B.

Yes, it's supposed to say "angy". I love that word. Kudos and love to those who guess the reference in the first panel.

Cutter Circuit Cookie, from the mobile gacha game Cookie Run Kingdom, is mimicking the famous Gendo Ikari pose, from the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion in which he holds his hands in front of him while his glasses shine. They say "I need you to trust this plan. It may be old-fashioned... but it IS effective for THESE types of enemies."

In next panel, a comic book narrative box says "Later..."

In the same panel is Rajapendra Cookie, who rasies one arm and says "FOOLISH COOKIES! IT IS TIME TO END THIS - "

In the next panel, he has accidentally flattened himself aganist an invisble surface. Above him is a sound panel that says BONK!

It's revealed that he has been trapped inside a giant, upside-down drinking glass. A chibi version of him is inside, with small text saying 'angy bug noises'. Above him, off-panel Cutter Circuit Cookie says "Next, is the gigantic tissue in place?"
