“Stand still, Tracy now. I can’t be doin’ me work with all yer fidgetin’.”

Not a changeling, but a Hobgoblin! His name is Nox!

He's a dedicated & skilled tailor, who spends his days weaving anything from carpets to socks. He rescued Tracy and took him in.

#myart #myocs #CtL #WoD #hobgoblin #nox

A reference sheet themed with hanging textiles on a clothesline before a background depicting a whimsical wooden house and a dark forest. The reference depicts a strange, moth-firefly man with a brown carapace and maroon hair in an undercut, dressed in a low cut tunic wrapped in an orange sash, and poofy, purple-striped pants. He is adorned with various pieces of jewelry and wears a necklace with a christmas light and a collection of sewing needles around his neck. Extra details show the pattern on his wings and ear-wings, indicates the eyes on his wings can emote, his firefly abdomen, as well as his body patterns beneath his clothing. Text: Nox Caradoc Alys Nox Luighseach Coinneach Eoghan Wyrd, whimsical weaver Height: 4’4” Age: ??? The Hedge is a dangerous place, filled with all manner of odd fae beings. Many of them are tricksters, but just as many wish little more than to feast on your bones...and then there's Nox. Nox is rather singularly fixated on weaving. It doesn't really matter WHAT he makes, just that he's making it . Blouses, scarves, towels, rugs, tapestries, socks, anything. He enjoys assembling outfits that nobody will ever wear. If there is a deeper motivation behind it, Nox has never told a soul. He's witty, charming, and rather charismatic, and delights in a bit of banter whenever some poor Lost passes through his lonely Hollow. But he doesn't suffer guests beyond a chat, shooing them out once he's lost interest. He's compassionate, but also fickle, and he prefers the quiet. That is, until a wind-up doll stumbled into his little corner of the Hedge, casting an open promise to the Wyrd before falling into catatonia. This one was different, wasn't it? And they'd just wrote a blank check with their words. Well, Nox could use an extra set of hands...

"Why YOU? Why'd he pick YOU!? Why...What did I do wrong..."

Another changeling...

Tracy Cavenaugh, who suffered a unique and personal hell at the hands of his keeper, The Play-write of the Pining Heart.

I've cried over this boy's story a few times now.

#myart #myocs #CtL #WoD #changeling #Tracy

A reference sheet themed after puppet-show stages with a dark, eerie background depicting a porcelain doll with ghostly-white skin, sad blue eyes, and dark hair tied in a ponytail. They are dressed like a mime. Extra details: A front and back views of them without his clothes, to better show off the painted markings on his body, A side profile shot to better depict his ponytail and triangular, pointed nose. His tools/weapons, a set of sewing needle throwing darts, and a sewing pin rapier. Additional details show the wind-up key in his back, and a side-view of his torso to depict where the key is connected to his body. Golden Wind-Up key inset into his lower back; He cannot wind it himself. Is constantly spinning down at all times. Tracy enters a near death-like state when the key is not kept wound. Tracy Cavenaugh, the Woeful Wind-up Doll Age at abduction: 30 Current Age: 130 Height: 5’4” Seeming: Fairest Needle: Storyteller Thread: Love Tracy is whimsical, clever and witty, a personality he developed growing up in the care of his grandfather, who used to host a late-night radio show when he was young. He puts that wit and whimsy to use writing new songs for 'Cavalcade', a friend's garage band, for which he is also the lead singer, a role said friend foisted upon him. He's passionate and empathetic, and cares a great deal about the people in his life, though nobody more than Cecil, a boy he deeply loves but has never told, and one who's forgetful, people-pleasing nature has kept Tracy chasing cars for nearly a decade. This 'fruitless' yearning drew the attention of one of the True Fae, who snatched him away, turned him into a porcelain wind-up doll, and forced him to live out a twisted, cruel version of every promise Cecil ever broke; every fantasy Tracy ever had about what the two of them could have been. A reference sheet themed after puppet-show stages with a dark, eerie background depicting a porcelain doll with ghostly-white skin, sad blue eyes, and dark hair tied in a ponytail. Unlike the other version of the reference, the dark background instead is colored like the setting sun. They are dressed in a maroon tunic worn over a cyan shirt with long, puffy sleeves. A small cape drapes over their shoulders and hangs behind them with washed out purple stripes. A sash with a large eye wraps around their waist, above a pair of puffy, maroon pants covered in patches. They are barefoot. Tracy Cavenaugh, the Woeful Wind-up Doll Age at abduction: 30 Current Age: 130 Height: 5’4” Seeming: Fairest Needle: Storyteller Thread: Love Tracy found a new sense of purpose as an assistant tailor for Nox, an odd, moth-like hobgoblin whom he began to fall in love with. However, his return home to Rosewick was fraught with anger & grief, finding the fetch his Keeper replaced him with dating the man he had yearned to be with for almost a decade. His return set off a tragic chain of events. His Fetch's downward spiral into despair as they learned that the last 5 years of their life were built on a lie, as they learned what they were. The reveal of Tracy’s identity to his former love, Cecil, upending their life as they tried to make sense of it all. And a harrowing, heartbreaking confrontation with a Huntsman on the beach that marked the death of the Fetch, and a final, tearful goodbye between Tracy and Cecil, the pain and sadness of everything too much to allow them to carry on together. But sweetness follows the bitter, as Nox revealed their own love for Tracy. Things would never be the same as they once were, but after so long, he felt hopeful for the future again.

A bunch of Charlies in different poses
@lulzyrobot.comSep 11, 2026, 2:50 PM

Charlie's childhood started out fairly normal but it quickly spiralled. Remember to not take shortcuts in the woods alone! You might get kidnapped by the fae. More in ALT text.

Younger versions of Charlie from the WoD campaign I'm playing her in. 8 Years Old, she was a spunky kid, full of imagination and a bit of a tomboy. Ends up cutting her hair when a bully (another pc in the group unbeknownst to her lol) kept pulling on her hair. 15 Years Old, due to family tragedy she's lost all of her outward sense of whimsy although she still buries herself in YA books as an escape. Moody teenager. This is the year she get's taken and replaced with a fetch.

Behold, the fantastical flying fish, the Amazing Caspian~! Witness his daring aerial acrobatics and be awe-inspired!

Here's my boy for the Changeling: The Lost game I'm in, Under Painted Hills! I love him so much, I'm obsessed.

"One day I'll find you again. And when I do? I want to tell you I'm sorry."

More changelings? What an unexpected development.

Another NPC for the future CtL setting I wanna run. He was taken by Full Bloom, and forced to tend their ethereal garden.

#myart #myocs #CtL #WoD #changeling #JulianBailey

A reference sheet themed with birch trees and bright, greenish-yellow leaves depicts a plant-boy with leafy hair & tree-branch antennae. Extra details show his mouth can split open like a flower and is filled with sharp teeth, the blossom on his long ponytail is a carnivorous plant, and the alternative colors he takes on during different seasons. Julian Bailey, Fragrant Floral Flytrap Age at abduction: 30 Current Age: 90 Height: 5'4" Seeming: Elemental Needle: Provider Thread: Love Julian was assertive & stubborn even before his durance within the endless, walled garden of his keeper. After being forced to tend to the needs of every tree, bush & flower there for sixty years, Jules is all the more unwilling to let others dictate what he can & can't do. Despite that, Julian is soft-spoken and gentle, & as much as he may not realize, still feels a compulsive need to bring out the best in those around him. He has the uncanny ability to read the emotional state of others & get to the heart of what might be troubling them, an ability he gained to better understand the needs & desires of the flora he was once charged with. Ever since his boyfriend was replaced with a fetch, he has thrown himself into the role of helping newly escaped changelings get settled now that they're home, in hopes of one day being able to see his lost love once more.

"What did I do to deserve this?!"

Another changeling! This one made for my own setting I wish to run (eventually).

Their durance was so long that they started to believe that they were never human to begin with.

#myart #ocs #CtL #WoD #changeling #figment

A reference sheet themed after a dark forest depicts a small, shadowy critter with eerie red eyes and long ears dressed in a patchwork outfit resembling a gnome. Extra details: Differences in pupil sizes; one shows small, catlike pupils with ‘intelligence’ behind them, and the other shows them so dilated they nearly fully swallow the red of the sclera, indicating a more animalistic, primal awareness. A mouth full of bright white and razor-sharp teeth that is only seen when threatened or when eating, as well as the detail that its eyes and mouth are not static, and can change their arrangement and size at will, but only in rare circumstances. Figment, the Savage Survivor Age at abduction: 27 Current Age: ??? Height: 1 Foot Seeming: Darkling Needle: Survival Thread: Revenge Having spent years uncountable trapped within The Menagerie’s menagerie, Figment is a strange, savage, near-feral thing that speaks with chitters, chirps and snarls rather than words. So small and cryptic it is, that many at the freehold didn’t initially believe it to even be a changeling, but rather some wild denizen of the Hedge. But a changeling it most certainly is, one who spent its seemingly eternal durance amidst a dark, twisted forest, fighting tooth and nail and claw against beasts and horrors too wretched to recall. Just to survive. Just to live one more day.
