Despite day #4 having been pretty wet here in #Crete we still managed to find plenty of the endemic #Cyclamen confusum, the magnificent & quite gigantic fern Woodwardia radicans, Judas trees in flower 😮 and much more!

Yesterday, 13th October & day #3 of the trip, was another “Cyclamen day” but with the Western #Crete endemic (or local variety depending on the taxonomy you’re following…) Cyclamen confusum, and the first day with Autumn “crocuses” (the tiny Colchicum pusillum).

Heute Nacht erwarten wir hier auf Kreta das zweite große Unwetter innerhalb von 10 Tagen…

Neben Starkregen (60 Liter innerhalb von 6 Std.) sind heftige Gewitter mit Hagelschlag und Sturm vorhergesagt.

Hoffentlich wird es nicht ganz so schlimm!
