During the pandemic I had a peak of like 120 #CMDR decks built. I’ve been working on dismantling/selling them over the years, but often when going over one I haven’t played in a long time I fall in love with it all over again. Building decks is my fave 😍 Taking them apart is rough 😭

Yesterday at #CMDR night a friend attempted this.

I’m not really a fan of two card combos, but this one somehow felt very cool.

I had never known this existed until last night.

Magic is pretty cool.

What if your favorite Commander had a walk up song? Kinda like they do in the MLB...my brain gets stuck on this idea.

Maybe a little something like this...

Last night I won two out of two #CMDR games I played.
Because I'm awesome.

In truth, I won the first game because they let me resolve a game-winning Scapeshift and the second because the player who was ahead forgot I had a Vedalken Shackles in play.

Updated my Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis #CMDR deck, which is the deck I've kept together the longest: nearly TEN years now! Lots of twists & turns in the list over the years, now pretty firmly in the "legends matter" camp with high impact big spells to finish games. archidekt.com/decks/873029...

I was today years old when I realized Third Path Iconoclast creates *artifact* creature tokens.
Off into my KCI #CMDR deck you go!

2. Jeskai Vraska going straight into my KCI #CMDR deck was not on my bingo card for 2026.

To be fair, I didn't do a bingo card for 2026.

Recorded ep 212 for your listening enjoyment! grab a coffee and join me for this week's cast.

Encroaching Mycosynth might have proven to be the most “do nothing” card in my recent #CMDR experience.

I included it in my Akiri-Thrasios KCI deck assuming it was going to make everything smoother. It turns out it’s kind of pointless, when basically 60% of the deck either is or makes an Artifact.

TEN MEEEEELION #CMDR DECKS, WOW!!! That's a lot of data there @edhrec.com edhrec.com/articles/edh...

Ep 210 came out last night...hard to believe I have put together 210 episodes...and still feel like a novice. If you want to check it out, you can find it below!

I could to another #KeepOrMull, but this had from last night was just insane - courtesy of my Kaalia Angels #CMDR deck:

1. Sol Ring
2. Giada, Font of Hopes
3. Plains
4. Vampiric Tutor
5. Godless Shrine
6. Arid Mesa
7. Talisman of Conviction

Turn 2 Kaalia into a Reforge the Soul was absurd.

As big a fan of Golgari, I'd never built a Savra deck because I hate the play patterns that Grave Pact effects have on #CMDR games... until Witherbloom's "life gain matters" cards came around. Plus this new artwork for Savra were so cool; I built the deck with only green creatures (except Savra).
