So, for something different, here's a picture of a stained glass window at the Musée de #Cluny of four partridges from my May visit to #Paris

(France), early 16th century Clear and coloured glass, grisaille, sanguine, lead This stained glass fragment showing four partridges in the midst of vegetation comes from the lower part of a church window, most likely in Rouen (France), where the art of stained glass flourished. It is notable for its use of sanguine, a red-coloured grisaille rich in iron oxide, and the audacious treatment of the small flowers, which were inserted inside a piece of glass without cracking it.
