Seven films at this years #LFF, and apart from Misty Green I enjoyed them all but #ClubKid & #Everest:TheOtherSide were my favourites, both emotional crowd pleasers for very different reasons.

Let’s do it again next year, yeah? #FilmSky

I'm a sucker for an NYC story and #ClubKid is a worthy addition to that patheon. It's not fair that Jordan Firstman knocks it out of the park as writer/director/star in whats turned out to be the funniest and most fun #LFF film. A crowd pleaser that'll have you laughing & crying equally measure.

Two more excellent films ticked off at the #LFF, the latter being up there in my favourite films of the year.

It’s hilarious, poignant, energetic, warm and frequently surprising. Definitely one to see with a massive crowd! #FIlmSky #LFF #ClubKid

Honestly, GEM OF THE FESTIVAL, and thank you to @lukehearfield.bsky.social for putting this on my radar. If you need laughs, Jordan Firstman has you covered. It may play predictable in places, but it's so sincere that it never overstays its welcome. Can't wait to watch this again. #ClubKid #LFF

Quick change. Now watching #ClubKid, film 27 of #LFF.

‪Well now #ClubKid was really good. Jordan Firstman takes a conceit that could be a broad comedy but instead digs into the psych of a second chance. Reggie Absolom is really great. Touching and funny.‬

Out now on our Patreon, Gavin got a chance to see #ClubKid before it hits theaters! Did he like it even if the creator can feel a little polarizing? Find out here:
