FlixChatter Review: MISTY GREEN wp.me/pxXPC-mtF

#RosalindEleazar sashays in her first feature leading role; alas, #ChrisRock’s script is far from being rock-solid. She’s truly the main reason to watch this, hopefully she would get more prominent roles! ✨

The filmmaker focuses on a character study of an actress who's fighting for a second chance after burning too many bridges and he's wisely cast someone who isn't too well known. But that's about to end for #RosalindEleazar..

Chris Rock can't get out of the title character's way in the fascinating, frustrating Misty Green

Rosalind Eleazar gives a terrific performance in Misty Green, but a sterling supporting cast can't fully float the whole movie.

This film looks great! And yes, I’m aware that some folks found some of its director’s comments( #ChrisRock) recent comments in an #NYT interview problematic. Still, I plan to watch “Misty Green.” www.nytimes.com/2026/10/08/m...

Chris Rock writes, directs & stars in Misty Green — a punishing look at Hollywood desperation. Rosalind Eleazar is remarkable, even when the film is exhausting. With Adam Driver, Daniel Kaluuya & Anna Kendrick. #MistyGreen #ChrisRock #RosalindEleazar
