@aquabassgirl.bsky.socialListened belatedly yesterday to #ChrisMcCausland and #JonLong on their morning show on @absoluteradio.bsky.social and had to hoot with laughter when Jon surprised Chris with a radio #jingle all his own!! #Fantastic
Do listen back to the podcast or full show with music to get the full impact!!
@aquabassgirl.bsky.socialLoved listening to and learning from #JonLong, #DrTaraShine and first special guest #ChrisMcCausland, all talking #tech and #climate… Loved Chris’ super-niche joke for horses and water!! #veryNiche. He’s soooo good! Sounds an excellent fun recording last year… hoping for more episodes in future!!
@aquabassgirl.bsky.socialHave been enjoying ‘new-to-me’ music from #ChrisMcCausland & #JonLong’s morning radio show on @absoluteradio this morning… aside from a rare Little Sam Fender song with ‘memories’, I really enjoyed hearing #NothingButThieves & “Baby Kool (Evelyn)” from August this year!! Feeling #younger today!
@aquabassgirl.bsky.socialI think (from later comments) that #ChrisMcCausland has a cold, so his voice reminded me of what I often have sounded like in the past when I have gone down with a cold and then lost the voice completely…. Get better soon, Chris!!
@aquabassgirl.bsky.socialOh my word… tuned into @absoluteradio.bsky.social later than usual this morning to listen to the ace #ChrisMcCausland & fab #JonLong show, & was struck by how #sexy Chris’ voice sounds… made a deep impression today!! Winning voice, melting listeners maybe not the best, but, well… I’ll take it!!
@aquabassgirl.bsky.socialI bet the shops get nervous thinking about whether they have enough supplies in, for when comedians such as yourself, @mitchbenn.bsky.social, and I can also think of #ChrisMcCausland, start your mince pie seasons!! Is it just that all #comedians are rather fond of a #mincePie? (I like them also!)
@aquabassgirl.bsky.socialYay!! Listened to #ChrisMcCausland and #JonLong this morning on @absoluteradio.bsky.social and have discovered #Chris is planning his next tour, named currently as “Waffle” (looking to waffle his way through), & due to start in October 2027… already looking forward to this! Hope to see #Jon also!!
@aquabassgirl.bsky.socialHeading for an early night tonight… but as I fall asleep I am reassured by the thought that fab comedians #ChrisMcCausland and #JonLong will be on @absoluteradio.bsky.social when I wake up in the morning. #Goodee!! Brightens up my week!
@aquabassgirl.bsky.socialHad a wonderful time this afternoon into evening at #Laughterama at #Manchester’s #CastlefieldBowl…
Great comedy gig, with compère act #JohnRobins, acts #ChristopherMacarthurBoyd, #JanineHarouni, #HarrietKemsley and the fabulous #ChrisMcCausland!! Glad to have gotten some #me-time in, #laughing!!
@rachelemily85.bsky.socialTomorrow is my favourite day of the week! I’m really looking forward to listening to #chrismccausland & #JonLong live on @absoluteradio.bsky.social from 8am, and then listening back to Episode 10 of the podcast afterwards. I always look forward to Sunday mornings with Chris & Jon!😊♥️
