Leadership can be all consuming, but mentally and emotionally one must find a way to separate the role and weight of responsibility from the person that you are.

Don’t get me wrong… it’s not easy, but it is doable.

Really enjoyed appearing on the High Performance Teacher Podcast. The opportunity to talk about how important Calm Leadership is in the current educational climate is was a pleasure!

Not everyone will like you.

Some will talk negatively about you.

And then we worry about what they’re saying.

WHY?

Leadership isn’t a popularity contest.

Listen to what helps you grow. Ignore what only seeks to bring you down.

Do you. Let them talk anyway.

Do good. They’ll talk.

Do bad. They’ll talk.

Do nothing. They’ll STILL talk.

So stop living for other people’s approval.

Be yourself. Stay true to your values. Do what you believe is right.

And let them talk anyway! 🗣️
