#BusNews: Kinetic, through its regional Go Bus brand, began two new nine-year contracts with the Otago Regional Council on October 1. Expanding its Dunedin operation with 37 new electric buses, 30 new drivers, and routes including a new daily service connecting Ōamaru to Dunedin.

#BusNews: From October 1, NZTA has introduced new rules that require road users to give way to buses leaving bus stops.

On roads with a 60km/h or lower speed limit, if bus drivers are leaving a bus stop, the side of the road or moving out of a bus lane, other drivers must give way to the bus.
