Light ruby in color. Stinky on the nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity. Dry on the palate with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel. This 5 year old Brunello is still young but already delicious, and will continue to get better in the next 15 years. A great vintage for this region, and it is showing. Robert Parker 93 points. Wine Enthusiasts 94 points. Wine Spectator 95 points. A great sipping wine that will also pair nicely with food. Sangiovese grapes were fermented in cement tanks, and aged for 30 months in oak barrels. 14.5% alcohol by volume. 92 points. $70.
