I came across these old school desks at #Brixham #Museum, #Devon, this summer. They have the old ink wells (minus the ceramic pots) with the sliding covers that I remember so well. I recall being told by staff that Biros would ruin our handwriting; they were of course quite correct.

Looks like we are effectively under siege here in #Brixham with roadworks at #Churston adding an hour and a half to journeys in and out. It would literally be faster to walk the 5 miles to Paignton.
