Fall has fell, indeed! The leaves are changing and the temperatures are dropping. It's time for yummy, cozy food, like this facaccia bread I baked in my cast iron skillet. The whole house smells so good.

On top is a generous covering of crumbly, golden shortbread-like pieces, creating a wonderfully rough and rustic texture. The pieces are irregularly cut, giving them a distinctly homemade appearance. The warm golden tones of the caramel and crumb topping stand out against the dark plate and black, polished kitchen worktop.
