Happy Saturday! ☀️

I went book shopping this afternoon with my Soror and picked this up.

I am beyond excited, but I can’t read it until I finish what…. #salemslot

Book Updates: It and The Dragon Republic are on hold. I finished Start Villian yesterday (or the day before). I'm currently reading Get A Life Chole Brown. Still listening to Lady Tremaine.

So, I read from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. After awhile, my hand starts to hurt from holding my book. If the book is big enough, it just sits in my laps, but for the books I have to hold it's a problem.

Any one else have this problem? What are we doing to fix it?

Finished "The Crimson Mouse" by Blair Cousins. Very entertaining magical dystopia with an all black cast of characters. At first I wasn't sure the multiple POVs would work but the fight at the end made it worth it. Good amount of violence. 5 out of 5 ⭐️. 📚💙 #booksky #blackbooksky

This is also a safe space for people reading whatever they want to read. #romancebooks #booksky #blackbooksky

It literally stresses me out how many good books are out there that I still haven't read.

Okay… have y’all SEEN that smile?! 👀😂

Chandler knew exactly what she was doing. 😏

And that’s where Chapter One ends for y’all. 🤫 No spoilers!

I'm curious to learn more about Brazil. I own several works by Brazilian authors, but I'd like books on Brazil's history and culture, especially Brazilian music, and perhaps a cookbook. Two books are anthropological, and I’m interested in “Death Without Weeping.” #Booksky #Blackbooksky

Happy Friday! ☀️

Beast of the Bayou📱4⭐️- This was a quick/spicy novella. Unexpectedly violent, but he is a ‘beast’🤷🏾‍♀️. Solomon was so sweet though. #Booksky #Blackbooksky #monsterromance #werewolves
