Bunkers Cannot Save You From the Lord The Old Testament says: Isaiah 2:19 KJV: “And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.” And again: Hosea 10:8 KJV: “Then they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.” Revelation uses strikingly similar language: Revelation 6:15-17 KJV: “And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men... hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb...” The biblical message is that wealth, power, technology, caves, and bunkers cannot ultimately provide refuge from God's judgment. Revelation specifically includes “the rich men” among those attempting to hide. The answer Scripture gives is not a better bunker.
