Sergio Castillo's sky-high onside kickoff puts the Bombers in a great position to recover it, but Austin Mack has other plans as he leaps into the air to make the catch!

The Elks get the win at home!

Sergio Castillo gets the monkey off his back and smokes this 53 yard field goal to make it an 8 point game!

What a snap from Bradley Hladik to set up Vincent Blanchard’s 52-yard field goal and. it. is. GOOD!!

Vinny extends the Elks’ lead and knocks through his sixth field goal of 50+ yards this season!
#CFL | #BetweenTheGoalposts

Vincent Blanchard has one of the best legs in the entire league for kickoffs ~ Just look at this nuke!

He sends this ball 78 yards through the air and it hangs in the air for just under 4 seconds. Vaval can't get under it and the ball rolls into the endzone for a Rouge!

Montrell Washington finds the hole on the left side of the field that was set up perfectly by his return team and bursts through, avoiding the kicker and ripping off a huge 65 yard kickoff return to give the Elks incredible field position!!

Edmonton Punter Jake Julien is making his case for your All-CFL vote!

He launches a 44 yard punt with 4.22 seconds of hang time, fielded outside the numbers and inside the 5 yard line!

Vaval has no room to run, and Royce Metchie brings him down inside the 10!

Edmonton Elks special teams ace and one of my favourite players in the CFL, Eteva Mauga-Clements, races downfield and rips the ball from Vaval's hands ~ it's a fumble!!

Winnipeg is lucky to recover this one!

The Ottawa REDBLACKS have won their first game of the season off the foot of Kicker Paul Geelen!!

What a moment for the rookie ~ A legend in the nation’s capital!
#CFL | #BetweenTheGoalposts

Paul Geelen sinks another long bomb, this one from 51 yards out!!

He is now 3/3 on 50+ yard attempts in his career!
#CFL | #BetweenTheGoalposts

Cool, calm, and collected in the swirling winds!

A new career long as rookie kicker Paul Geelen drills this 53 yard attempt between the goalposts!!

An incredible rep for the entire Argonaut Field Goal operation on this 43 yard attempt!

Beautiful snap from Adam Guillemette, a textbook hold from James Burnip, and Lirim Hajrullahu splits the uprights to take the lead!
#CFL | #BetweenTheGoalposts

Toronto Argonaut Derek Slywka flies in unblocked off the far edge and blocks this punt!

Rookie Ethan John recovers it and runs it back for a touchdown!! What a way to start the game!
#CFL | #BetweenTheGoalposts

José Maltos Díaz caps off a great performance by sending a 40 yard field goal straight down the middle!

He finishes the night going 2/2 on field goals and 5/5 on convert attempts.

Lauther, Rinse, Repeat!!

Brett sinks a 51 yard field goal, his first long distance attempt back with the Green and White!
#CFL | #BetweenTheGoalposts

Joseph Zema's second punt was a thing of beauty!

He masterfully sends this one towards the sideline, 51 yards downfield with around 4.65 seconds of hang time. The return is negated due to a holding penalty and the Riders will start their drive at the 6 yard line.

In what would be his longest of the game, Mathew Sexton fields this kickoff inside his own 10 yard line before breaking right and following his blockers for 42 yards on the return!

Feels so good to see him back in the CFL after his injury earlier this season.
#CFL | #BetweenTheGoalposts

He’s baaaack!!!

Brett Lauther's first field goal for the Roughriders in '26 is GOOD from 43 yards out! Talk about a full circle moment.

Trey Vaval never fails to impress me. He pulls off some of the most outrageous football moves I've ever seen!

Feels like watching Madden gameplay on rookie with juke and sprint maxed at 99.
#CFL | #BetweenTheGoalposts

Sergio Castillo is out for what would be his longest attempt of the game, a 48 yard field goal ~ and he sinks it!!

The veteran kicker finishes the game going 4/4 on field goals and 3/3 on converts as the Bombers win their final home game!
#CFL | #BetweenTheGoalposts

Are my eyes playing tricks on me or did Mark Vassett just hit a perfect Tornado Punt?!

That thing had so much spin on it that when it hit the ground and bounced up to Vaval, the ball went straight through his hands! Bombers are lucky he was able to recover this one.
