A black and white film photograph of a worn traffic cone placed incongruously in a field. The cone occupies the majority of the image and is placed foreground center. From the background a brightly lit edge of a carport reaches out to the top of the cone but falls just short. The exact plane of focus is placed on long grass a few centimeters behind the apparent main subject. This is due to misalignment of the camera rangefinder but is used to further isolate the cone from reality.

A little late for the #shittycamerachallenge but I just picked this thing up for $5. The roll came from a frozen stash of 35mm and 120 that's been fine shooting at box speed. Probably the only roll of 127 I'll ever shoot.

That thing where you take a really great photograph, but on the first attempt you forget to extend the lens fully, and even then you have to guess the 1/4 second exposure whilst bracing yourself against a wall because… well, 1950’s manual cameras.

Good fun though…
