I loved BEHEMOTH!. One of my favourite films at #LFF for sure! Here's my review 👇

Pedro Pascal is phenomenal in Tony Gilroy’s BEHEMOTH!, which tells the heartbreakingly human story of a man who spends most of his life waiting to be seen.

Gorgeous visuals, an exceptional score and an ever-reliable Pedro Pascal can’t save #Behemoth! from being a bit of a mess, let down by a messy script that meanders too much to for it’s own good. Olivia Wilde as a psychotic ex is an inspired casting choice who steals the film. #LFF

Liked but didn't love #Behemoth! Sorta dug what Gilroy does here - watching a film score within a film score. But it can also feel like a puzzle trying to assemble itself & not all the pieces gel. Pascal is cool, but Wilde steals the show. Gilroy gets a pass to be experimental because of Andor. #LFF

#Behemoth is EXCELLENT
Especially for those interested in how film music works

Behemoth have turned their Whiskey Aged Stout into a Lid Ripper... And I think I prefer the original (hazy, unfiltered IPA) over this version.

They do their best but stout just isn't their thing (Snow Mexican being the exception).

#Behemoth!: Look, there's always going to be one Searchlight movie about a man going through a midlife crisis, starring Will Arnett that I dislike. Only this one doesn’t have Bradley Cooper playing a guy named “Balls,” whose introduction is a bellyflop on a milk cartoon.

Pedro Pascal says he had "never been so afraid" of preparing for a role as he was for playing a cellist in Tony Gilroy's "Behemoth!"

Here's a sketch drawing depicting my version of Behemoth

I went for a more mammoth like design as I believe it was more fitting and looked better for the titan

So yeah, he's a wise old fluffy mammoth

Tony Gilroy’s #BEHEMOTH is nothing short of phenomenal. Pedro Pascal delivers a masterclass in this gripping, incredibly written and well directed drama.

With a sensational score, tension cutting comedy and a poignant finale, Gilroy has delivered brilliance again. #LFF

#Behemoth! Is a wonderfully entertaining, moving, emotional and engaging film with a banging, killer soundtrack.

Pedro Pascal is brilliant in his role of Alex and the whole film is a complete joy.

One for the top ten best films of the year.

Oscars are possible!
